Making Miracles Hursley is set within a village situated between Romsey and Winchester, having beautiful surroundings.

Opening in September 2010, over the years Making Miracles Nursery and Pre-School has become part of the community, building up strong connections with local businesses, as well as the local school, John Keble.

We strive to provide a welcoming and homely environment for all our children and their families.  With an open plan setting, children can fully engage with children of different ages, building on vital social skills for later development.  Children can explore all areas of the Nursery as well as having a free flow system for them to explore the outside area.

At Making Miracles Hursley staff are always on hand to develop the children's skills and knowledge, taking into account their individual needs and interests and linking this closely with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). We ensure each child has a Key Worker in place for all children.  By having this Key Person in place we can fully engage with each child, ensuring all individual needs are met and their development can progress through their own interests in line with the EYFS.

At Making Miracles Hursley, we ensure there are plenty of activities to stimulate, challenge and interest children of all ages.  With plenty of messy activities such as jelly, rice, shaving foam and paint, children can explore different textures, as well as developing their fine motor skills.  In the role play area children can build on their imagination and bring in life skills from outside the setting. Within the creative area, again children can build on their imagination and develop their physical skills, as well as their literacy.

Making Miracles Hursley Manager - Dannii

Hello my name is Dannii and I have been part of Making Miracles team since March 2016. I started as a senior nursery nurse then as a deputy manager and now as the manager of Making Miracles Hursley.

I have worked in childcare for 5 years, with a variety of different ages, from new borns to 11 year olds. Before starting at Making Miracles I completed 2 seasons abroad nannying as well as running a kids club within a hotel which gave me a different view on childcare as it involved meeting a lot of new children every week and making them feel comfortable in an environment that was new to them.

I am Level 3 qualified and am currently studying towards my Early Years Foundation Degree. I am always eager to learn new things, so attend courses regularly to help extend my knowledge further.

I love my job and enjoy what I do. I am very passionate about childcare and Making Miracles and want to ensure that my team deliver the best level of care we can and ensuring the children have a fun filled time. I want to make sure everyone goes home with a big smile on their face excited for the next time they come back.
